Developing lasting relationships and learning how to communicate well with your significant other is something everyone strives for. However, those individuals who find themselves separated due to incarceration have many more obstacles to overcome in the process. Through the Marriages That Matter program, incarcerated men can participate in relationship building classes. Pilot programs were established at Dixon Correctional Institute and Phelps Correctional Center. Classes at Dixon will resume in Spring 2010. If you or your significant other is interested in developing better communication skills as well as building a strong relationship, even if one of you are incarcerated, contact us at info@rbf.la.
